Flying to Denmark

It was early morning on February 4. Taking my flight to Copenhagen where after some turbulence and 3 hours later, we managed to land in a new country to add in my passport.   

Lloret de mar

One of the most popular holiday resorts on the Costa Brava, it is 40 km from Girona and 75 km from Barcelona. This Mediterranean coastal in Catalonia is almost well known for their discos and parties. Every year this city host some festivals for young people who enjoy the beach, pubs and sun.
However, Lloret also offers another side to people who like walking near to the Mediterranian coast.

Going throught these Castles and following differents paths, Lloret is well-connected to Blanes, in one direction, and to Tossa in the other one. If you like walking enjoy these routes with excellent landscapes, and creecks. 

Montjuïc, Barcelona

Montjuïc is a hill in Barcelona. On the top of this "medieval mountain" you can see an amazing views over Barcelona City, like the harbour, Tibidabo, Sagrada Familia, and all little flats. This site was selected to hoste the 1929 International Exposition and nowadays the surviving buldings from this effort include Spanish Village, the Olympic Staduim, National Palace (National Art Museum of Catalonia / MNAC), Miles van der Rohe's German National Pavilion and Magic Fountain.

Lleida/Lérida, Catalonia, Spain

Recently I visited Lleida (Lérida) one of the oldest towns in Catalonia, with recorded settlements dating back to the Bronze Age perdiod. I took photos of castles and the view offered from the top of the watchtowers. 

Bee colony

This is the union of some 3000 bees protecting their queen who is soft and comfortable in the middle. The temperature in the middle may rise to 30 degrees. 

Bees do have a smell, you know, and if they don't they should, for their feet are dusted with spices from a million flowers. Ray Bradbury

The Barcelona Skyline

Dear Barcelona, when I wake up in the morning and see your skyline - Tibidabo, the height of the Agbar Tower, the shiny sides of Hotel W, the three fireplaces from the industry, Montjuic walls, mountain and beach - I know I'm home. I feel a certain energy walking between your streets, but recognize that makes you special to me is that my roots are here.

Hopeless
